Suppose Sunil, Rahul Gaurav are participating in an auction. Let’s take a close look who will be the winner by the logic of LOWEST UNIQUE BID.
First Sunil enters 3 bids e.g. 0.02, 0.03, 0.05
Sunil’S Bid | Rahul’s Bid | Gaurav’s Bid | Current Bid Status | Winner |
---|---|---|---|---|
0.02 | Lowest And Unique | Sunil is the Current Winner | ||
0.03 | Doesn’t bid | Doesn’t bid | Unique but Not Lowest | |
0.05 | Unique but Not Lowest | |||
Now Rahul enters 4 bids e.g. 0.01, 0.02, 0.4, 0.11
Sunil’S Bid | Rahul’s Bid | Gaurav’s Bid | Current Bid Status | Winner |
---|---|---|---|---|
0.01 | Lowest And Unique | |||
0.02 | 0.02 | Not Unique | ||
0.03 | Doesn’t bid | Unique but Not Lowest | Rahul Is The Current Winner | |
0.04 | Unique but Not Lowest | |||
0.05 | Unique but Not Lowest | |||
0.11 | Unique but Not Lowest |
After Rahul’s bidding, “0.02” is ‘NOT UNIQUE’ anymore because he enters “0.01”, which is LOWER than “0.02”. So, the current winner is Rahul. Other bids are UNIQUE because they don’t match with each other.
Now Gaurav enters bids e.g 0.01, 0.05, 0.06, 0.15
Sunil’S Bid | Rahul’s Bid | Gaurav’s Bid | Current Bid Status | Winner |
---|---|---|---|---|
0.01 | 0.01 | Not Unique | ||
0.02 | 0.02 | Not Unique | ||
0.03 | Lowest And Unique | |||
0.04 | Unique But Not Lowest | |||
0.05 | 0.05 | Not Unique | Sunil Is The Current Winner | |
0.06 | Unique But Not Lowest | |||
0.11 | Unique But Not Lowest | |||
0.15 | Unique But Not Lowest |
When Gaurav enters “0.01”, then it is ‘NOT UNIQUE’ anymore. Now “0.03” is the ‘UNIQUE & LOWEST’. So, Sunil is again the ‘Current Winner’. Other bids (except 0.01, 0.02 & 0.05) are ‘UNIQUE’ as they don’t match with each other. But none of them is ‘LOWEST’.
When bidding time is over, our system will find out the “LOWEST UNIQUE BID” form the database and the corresponding user will be declared as the winner.
Yes, you can check all the information e.g. your bid status, all the bid amounts you entered earlier, remaining Bid Credits, remaining the time of the bidding and also the name of the current winner.
